I have experience with a variety of network equipment, network operating systems and network technologies including Microsoft Windows and Active Directory, Novell Netware and eDirectory, Enterasys switches, 802.11b wireless, and Sonicwall and Checkpoint firewalls. Network Planning and Design

HBNetworks can help you with design, specification, purchasing, and set up of your business network. This includes needs analysis, space requirements, cost analysis, hardware/software analysis and Internet access requirements.

Network Management

Generally, smaller businesses do not have the time, staff, or resources to perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot "slow" network problems, install the latest software patches, or eliminate the latest virus. I can help you:

• Maintain your existing systems: defragment hard drives, install service packs, check backups, configure network switches, hubs, and network cards.
• Enhance security: keep antivirus up to date, install an Internet firewall
• Install new hardware/software: set up file, print, or mail servers, set up a wireless access point, install applications like Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.
• Troubleshoot: Find and resolve problems with servers, network equipment, and PC's

Rates

Business services are charged at $80 per hour. However, I can provide fixed pricing for projects with a defined scope (e.g. Network planning and design).
